It is now official, following the final round of the Lower North Coast Pennants last Sunday the PMGC Division 3 and 4 teams are the LNC Champions and join the Division 1 team as winners of the flags for the 2nd year in a row, the 4s have won 4 in a row.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Last Sunday the 3s had a 3 all draw with Taree, they finished with 5 wins and 2 draws for the season.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Back To Back Division 1 Flags For Our Pennant Team<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Congratulations to the Terry Davis captained Division 1 pennant team on winning back to back flags following their 3.5 to 2.5 win over Kew yesterday at Tuncurry.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Going into the match Kew were probably the slight favorites but the Port 1s knew they needed to get off to a good start and it was a good start with Stefan Walker winning 6\/4 and Terry Davis having a square in match 1.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Then in match 2 Matt Rutter won 2\/1 while Richard Went got rolled by 1 hole, this saw the Port team up 2.5-1.5 with 1 match to go.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

That left the Port 1s needing to win 1 of the match 3 games and with Matt Saad being beaten 6.5 it came down to David Bagust winning and win he did 3\/1.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
