Dear Members

Construction work has begun today on Hole 7.

A construction zone has been created whilst work is underway, and we ask all members not to enter the construction zone other than to retrieve a wayward shot whilst playing Holes 6 & 8.

If your ball goes into the construction zone, relief must be taken at the nearest point outside the construction zone no nearer the hole, without penalty. Extreme care must be taken when retrieving the ball.

All players, after playing Hole 6, must use the cart path to access the 8th Tee. Under no circumstances are players permitted to walk back to the 8th Tee via the 8th fairway, for obvious safety reasons.

Dear Members,

Exciting times ahead!
Work will commence this Thursday to enhance the 7th hole with a fresh design that promises a more enjoyable and strategic playing experience.

The remodeled Par 3 will feature a newly angled green that rewards precise distance control and offers varied shot options, thanks to short grass surrounds and thoughtful contouring.

Players of all levels will benefit from expanded tees, including a new forward tee for greater flexibility. The upgraded Bentgrass green and modern bunker technology will significantly improve playability and consistency, especially in wet conditions.

The hole is expected to reopen in February 2026, weather permitting. We’re thrilled to bring you a more dynamic and rewarding 7th hole soon!
Display boards are now available on the notice board and around the club for your viewing.

Warm regards,

Ian A Munro
Chief Executive Officer
