Members will notice several greens have been repaired with nursery bent grass but there are a few others still requiring the same attention.
Due to the changing of the seasons, this has given course staff the opportunity to apply ‘Phylex’ to greens with couch invasion.
The tee area on Hole 4 is scheduled to be returfed with nursery couch grass.
Several planned projects have been delayed due to our recent weather events including high rainfall and extreme winds. This included bunker washouts, fallen trees and leaf litter throughout the course.
Your patience was appreciated when holes, bunkers and fairways were affected during this period.

Welcome to my first course info highlights for 2024!
The last couple of months there have been plenty of golfing traffic on our course along with some trying conditions ((heat and humidity) for our greens staff.
On The Greens – you may notice some discolouration.
We are now trialing a new chemical product on all greens to limit the encroaching Couch Grass.
Here is a brief list of the completed and proposed works !
– RHS of 18th irrigation and turfing completed -RHS of 5th turfing completed
– RHS of 12th shaping, irrigation, mulching and turfing completed (Compulsory GUR signs in place)
Proposed works
– LHS of 6th shaping, mounding and irrigation of fenced area
– Rear of 9th tee area , excavation, tree root removal and returning from nursery
– Autumn Greens Renovations will take place on March 11, 12 & 13
