Changes to MiScore, “Score Comparison”
MiScore is changing slightly this coming Monday, July 17.
When both players are using MiScore
- Each player will still record both scores.
- At the end of the round, MiScore will enforce a Hole-by-Hole Comparison where both Players hole scores must match before any score can be submitted.
- If the scores do not match, both players will receive a “Holes Do Not Match” alert and these errors will need to be fixed before the scores can be submitted.
- This change has been approved by Golf Australia and the R&A.
When one player is using MiScore and the other is not
- Players who do not use MiScore, will be responsible for collecting their OWN card from the Proshop.
- The MiScore user will record both scores on the app.
- The other player will give his card to the marker who will record both scores on that card.
- Both players will check scores at the end of the round and submit/scan the results
- If more than one player is using a physical card, they must exchange cards as in the past.
At PMQ there are around 80% of our Members using this App. Most players will not notice anything different. This new process is simply making every golfer responsible their own score.
