THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS

President –      2 years

Captain –         3 years (Neil Smith is eligible for re-election)

Director –        3 years (John Cullinane is eligible for re-election)

Director –        3 years (Les Murphy is eligible for re-election)

Director –        1 year

 

NOMINATION FORMS WILL BE  AVAILABLE FROM RECEPTION ON 10TH OCTOBER 2022

(PLEASE PRESENT MEMBERSHIP CARD WHEN REQUESTING A FORM)

 

You are required to SIGN A BOARD ELECTION NOMINEE Statutory Declaration OATHS ACT 1900, NSW, NINTH SCHEDULE

This form checks compliance with key legislative requirements for holding a Director position.

 

Members intending to stand for the Board of Directors must under the requirements of the Constitution of Port Macquarie Golf Club Ltd comply with the following to hold a Directorship

 

Rule 27.5 Any person who is elected or appointed to the Board must, unless exempted, complete such mandatory training for Directors as required by the Regulations made under the Registered Clubs Act.

 

Rule 27.6 Any member nominated for election to the Board or appointed to the Board must provide a National Police Check and Working with Children Clearance

 

Director Identification Number (DIN) What is a DIN?

A DIN is a unique 15-digit numerical identifier that will be assigned to eligible directors as proof of their identity based on a one-time application.

Directors will keep their forever, regardless of whether they change directorships, change names or move overseas.

The ABS – a newly established function of the ATO – will administer the DIN system.

 

Requirement for Club Directors to have a DIN.

Individuals appointed or elected as a Club Director from 5 April 2022 need to apply for a DIN prior to their appointment.

 

NOMINATIONS FOR ELECTION OF PRESIDENT, CAPTAIN & DIRECTORS MUST BE IN WRITING, PROPOSED AND SECONDED BY LIFE MEMBERS OR FULL PLAYING MEMBERS OF THE CLUB AND SIGNED BY THE NOMINEE TO SIGNIFY CONSENT TO THE NOMINATION.

 

NOMINATIONS SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

WHICH CLOSE ON TUESDAY 8 NOVEMBER 2022 AT 5PM

 

VOTING FOR THE BOARD POSITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE FROM

WEDNESDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2022 TO TUESDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2022

EACH DAY DURING THE FOLLOWING HOURS

 

11:00AM TO 3:00PM AND 5:00PM TO 6.30PM
